About

Molly Ann Tucker was raised in Atlanta, GA and knew from a young age that storytelling and performance were her life’s passion. When she discovered the theater at age ten, it was like finding home for the first time. She was trained in both dance and piano from a young age and has always worked to incorporate her love for music and dance into every facet of her life.

Molly graduated from Ohio University with a BFA in Musical Theater in May 2023. She was lucky to be a part of OU’s inaugural MT class as well as Ohio University’s prestigious Honors Tutorial College, which allowed her to work independently with professors and personalize her education to fit her many interests as an artist.

Her HTC thesis Maggie’s Convent was conceived and performed within her senior year at OU.

Molly also graduated with a minor in Dance Performance and Choreography and a certificate (unique to OU) in Actor-Musicianship performance.

She has since moved back to Atlanta to begin pursuing her dreams full time. Her time in college opened her mind to the joys of directing and playwriting so she cannot wait to tackle the city and bring her interdisciplinary touch to everywhere she goes.

Molly is passionate about new works and spends her free moments scouring NPX or her local bookstore for plays to read. She is also passionate about travel and it is her dream to see as much of the world as she can. When not working, you’ll find her reading a book or strumming her guitar.
